If you were involved in PostgreSQL in 2017 and 2018, you should have heard about Zheap. You surely read Robert Haas’s blog post about “DO or UNDO - There is no VACUUM” (if you didn’t, go read it).
At Pgcon, in May 2018, Robert Hass and Amit Kapila gave a conf talk about Zheap and what it implies for PostgreSQL’s future and it’s enlightening. You can watch the video here.
