Patroni is a high availability solution for PostgreSQL. Everu time I hear someone talking about patroni, they’re saying it’s pretty good. I wanted to knowmore about it. Sadly, I wasn’t affected to a project with that kind of need and I wont advise a customer to install and maintain a high availability solution if they don’tneed it (and you’ll be surprised by how many customers think they need one when they simply don’t).

My colleague from Loxodata, Sébastien Lardière, had to play with it for a customer, he took the time to explain to us howit works.
